Ani Charles Bassey-Eyo is an active serial entrepreneur operating in Sub Saharan
Africa. He is the principal and Chief Executive Officer of LANI Group and he is
actively involved in enterprise, project and initiatives around education,
agriculture, finance, technology and consulting.
He co-founded Axiom Learning Solutions in 2010 based on the need to address the
inequalities and issues around professional teaching processes in the education
ecosystem. As a founder, he sits on the advisory board of Axiom with oversight on
finance, business development and corporate strategy. His primary role within Axiom
is to drive ideation, develop strategic business opportunities and partnerships that
align with Axiom’s medium to long term goals. In Axiom, he is also responsible for
project management and delivery of large-scale initiatives which have included
nationwide teacher trainings programmes in key areas such as Special Needs and
Disabilities (SENDs) and Digital Literacy.
Ani has a wide range of industry experiences that spans media and communication,
technology, luxury fashion and retail as well as banking. Some of his achievements
in these roles include implementation of a Pan European in-house Bank at Polo Ralph
Lauren Europe in 2003 where he served as Group Treasury Manager. He has also
implemented several turnkey technology programmes within the UK banking sector
including the IFRS Change implementation at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
He earned a BSc degree (Second Class Upper Division) in Accounting and Finance from
the University of Hull, UK and subsequently gained a Post Graduate Diploma in
International Tax Law from the Centre of Commercial Legal Studies, Queen Mary and
Westfield College, University of London UK. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant
(FCCA), certified Corporate Treasurer (AMCT) and an Associate of The Chartered
Institute of Taxation. He also holds a Certificate in Biblical Counselling from
Waverly Abbey College, UK.
Mr. Bassey-Eyo is an industry thought leader across several disciplines. He has been
a subject matter expert in treasury and risk management for Sub Saharan Africa. He
co-authored The Nigeria Country Guide in the International Treasurers Handbook and
The Asia Treasurers Handbook published by the JP Morgan and the Association of
Corporate Treasurers (UK) for several years. He contributes widely on agriculture,
education, education finance, entrepreneurship and youth affairs. He is a frequent
speaker at local and international events and an active advocate for social change
and justice (e.g., child rights and disabilities).
Mrs. Olubukola Adebonojo is the Managing Partner, (Business Operations, Training and
Research) Axiom Learning Solutions Ltd., She is also the Director of Learning and
Content at Axiom Academy. She is a focused and dynamic educator with diverse
experience and teaching skills in the education sector, with the capability of
developing curriculum, formulation and implementation of educational policies and
has also delivered advisory service to both public and private educational
institutions. She has over 20 years of experience in the execution of teaching and
learning strategies, research, content development, continuous professional
development, capacity development and consulting in the education ecosystem.
Mrs. Olubukola Adebonojo has a great expertise in design and development of
operational procedures for educational Institutions, assessment for referrals and
mainstreaming and also skilled in strategic management and project supervision, with
experience in developing operational procedures particularly monitoring and
implementing change process to ensure effective product service delivery and
excellent decision-making skills with problem-solving abilities.
Mrs. Olubukola Adebonojo has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education
from Bowie State University, Maryland, USA and a Postgraduate degree in Education
Management from the University of Nottingham, UK. She is licensed with Highly
Qualified Status certification from the Nevada State Department of Education and
certified by the Centre for Management Development as a Management Trainer. Mrs.
Olubukola Adebonojo is a member of the National Education Association (USA), Nevada
State Teachers Association, The International Reading Association (USA) and a
lifetime member of the Alpha Chi-National College Honor Scholarship Society. She is
happily married with two children.
