Jolaolu Laolu-Ogunniyi Graduated From the University of Ibadan with a B.Sc. in Agricultural Economics.
He started his career as a banker in one of the new generation banks and rose to become the Head of Operations in the first three 3 years. Based on his exemplary performance he was seconded to the Asset Management arm and strategy division of the bank to develop their business processes and back office strategy.
He later took a fresh challenge in Marketing first as head of marketing and then a branch marketing manager.As a manager he grew the branch portfolio by 70 percent.Heis a strong advocate of exemplary leadership and was also able to mentor his team to success both as a Head of Operations and a Branch Marketing Manager. He also served as the Head of Sale and Business Development at one of the legacy mobile money companies where he developed the marketing strategy for an aggressive nationwide expansion. He is a management trainer and he has developed content and trained the staff of various blue-chip companies on Leadership, Mentorship, Personal Effectiveness and Core Competency Skills, Branch Management, Effective Supervision and Sales and Marketing. He has over 18 years’ experience in Business Development, Marketing Strategy, Sales, Audit/Internal Control and Operations Management.
He is currently the Head Learning Strategy and Business Development for Axiom Learning Solutions Limited to pioneer their expansion into sub-Saharan Africa. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his daughters and watch movies. He is also a great fan of Arsenal Football club. Jola is married with children.
